Manager Planning - Aircraft Maintenance

What you will do

• Lead the Maintenance Planning department and ensure commitments to service providers, employees, and regulatory authorities are delivered.
• Develop department procedures that meet national airworthiness regulations and agreed KPI requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments, including network scheduling teams, to create maintenance slots.
• Manage the lifecycle of planned maintenance projects, including pre-input and wash-up meetings for A-check and higher maintenance events.
• Deliver annual maintenance cost budgets and support workforce performance reviews and development.
• Investigate quality lapses and monitor technical records and audit processes for CAMO compliance.

Requirements

• Technical academic degree or HND in aeronautical engineering, or an ICAO Type I or Type II licence.
• At least seven years of operational experience in a Maintenance Planning environment.
• Management or supervisory experience, including leading and motivating teams in a dynamic environment.
• Proven MRO or aviation-related operational experience and current knowledge of airworthiness and health and safety legislation.
• Strong planning, operational, crisis management, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
