Field Operations Technician

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; onsite field work across operational zones

What you will do

• Respond to live vehicle incidents, breakdowns, and situations requiring physical intervention on public and private roads.
• Assess incidents, take appropriate action, and safely operate vehicles for deployment, repositioning, service, and recovery.
• Reposition vehicles across operational zones and support recovery when vehicles cannot return to the depot independently.
• Coordinate with remote operators, depot operations, and the Fleet Operations Manager on handovers and status updates.
• Complete incident logs, field reports, and documentation while following standard operating procedures and escalating non-standard cases.
• Work rotating morning, evening, and overnight shifts in a 24/7 operation, six days on and one day off.

Requirements

• Valid UAE driving licence, at least three years of driving experience, and a good driving record.
• Good understanding of UAE road regulations, traffic rules, and RTA requirements.
• Confidence operating vehicles in varying conditions and making quick decisions under pressure.
• Comfort with modern apps, digital systems, and communication platforms.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Fluent English and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience in field operations, logistics, emergency response, or a similar hands-on operational role.
