Contracts Administrator, Associate – Contracts Support (Aerospace/Defense): Supporting contract administration for defense products through managing agreements, certification packages, government contracting determinations, and compliance screening with an accent on FAR/DFARS requirements, data integrity, and commercial operations. Focus on maintaining contract systems, preparing customer documentation, and coordinating multiple agreements and special projects in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada — onsite

Salary: CAD 56,200–74,900 per year

Manufactures rugged, high-quality, small-batch products for military requirements at a certified design and manufacturing facility using SAP and MES systems for component traceability.

What you will do

  • Develop, negotiate, structure, and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements and Bailment Agreements.
  • Complete and maintain customer certification and representation packages.
  • Prepare and support Commercial Item Determinations and Assertions under U.S. Government contracting requirements, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Maintain the Sales Operations SharePoint site and support data integrity audits across business systems.
  • Perform restricted- and denied-party screening for new business partners.
  • Assist senior contracts staff with policy initiatives and supervised special projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 0–2 years of related work experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, technology design, or manufacturing.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks and interact effectively across a complex organization.
  • Work onsite in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
  • The position may involve exposure to export-controlled information and additional security screening.
