Director of Planning & Purchasing (AI Hardware)

Developing the hirify.global Decode Accelerator 1 (DX-1), an AI computing accelerator designed for rack-scale systems through co-design of logic, data movement, packaging, optics, and interconnect.

What you will do

• Develop and execute demand, supply, and production plans for product launches and high-volume manufacturing.
• Lead purchasing activities and ensure timely material availability while balancing cost, inventory, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate supply execution with Engineering, Global Supply Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and contract manufacturing partners.
• Establish scalable planning processes, ERP workflows, planning parameters, and reporting.
• Optimize inventory and logistics strategies to support delivery performance, cost control, and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of leadership experience in Planning, Purchasing, or Supply Chain within electronics or advanced manufacturing, including at least five years leading teams.
• Expertise in demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, ERP/MRP systems, and S&OP.
• Experience implementing end-to-end ERP/MRP planning solutions, including process design, master data, planning parameters, material planning, and reporting.
• Demonstrated success enabling product launches and high-volume manufacturing through planning processes and material execution.
• Eligibility is subject to U.S. export control regulations and citizenship or permanent residency restrictions.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience applying Lean Six Sigma principles.
• APICS CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent supply chain certification.
