Company
is an artificial intelligence company developing personalized multimodal intelligence and next-generation hardware that connects people and machines through speech, text, vision, and persistent memory.
What you will do
- Define strategic sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships for PCBA, EMS, semiconductors, RF and connectivity modules, flex circuits, connectors, passives, and other critical electronics.
- Lead RFQs, supplier selection, sourcing awards, cost negotiations, contracts, NDAs, supply agreements, MSAs, SOWs, NRE, tooling, CapEx, and commercial terms.
- Drive PCB assembly and EMS readiness through BOM cost management, SMT and test cost analysis, yield assumptions, capacity planning, line readiness, and clear-to-build visibility.
- Manage electronics allocation and long-lead risks across NPI and production, including wafer capacity, semiconductor lead times, NCNR exposure, risk buys, EOL/LTB plans, and supplier commitments.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, liability, warranty, quality obligations, IP protections, capacity reservations, cancellation rights, and long-lead material exposure.
- Coordinate material readiness, purchase order placement, capacity confirmation, supplier ramp plans, and risk reporting for NPI builds and mass-production ramps.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategic supply management, strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply-chain program management for high-volume electronics.
- Direct experience with PCBA, EMS/contract manufacturing, semiconductors, memory, RF, modules, flex circuits, connectors, passives, or related board-level and module-level technologies.
- Experience managing electronics commodities across NPI and sustained production.
- Proven success negotiating agreements covering price, NRE, tooling, CapEx, capacity, lead times, payment terms, liability, warranty, and long-term supply commitments.
- Ability to analyze PCBA and EMS cost breakdowns and build should-cost models covering SMT, testing, fixtures, labor, yield, scrap, overhead, and amortization.
- Strong project-management discipline and the ability to align engineering, operations, finance, legal, quality, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
Culture & Benefits
- Hands-on, high-ownership role focused on building and scaling the electronics supply base.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, quality, finance, legal, and manufacturing partners.
- Full-time position with a US base salary range of $120,000–$300,000 annually.
- Total compensation may include additional components and benefits based on the specific role.
