Senior Analytics Engineer (Databricks)

Location: Billund, Denmark; hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Design and maintain dimensional data models and a reliable data foundation for Manufacturing and Engineering.
• Create and manage scalable data products on Databricks that provide trusted, high-quality data.
• Build and automate ETL pipelines, APIs, and analytics capabilities using cloud-based platforms.
• Transform complex operational data into solutions that support business decisions and performance improvement.
• Contribute to data engineering standards, DataOps practices, and ways of working across the organisation.
• Collaborate with product managers, project managers, peers, and business stakeholders to shape data solutions.

Requirements

• Production experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience building dimensional data models for reporting, analytics, or operational decision-making.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and automating ETL pipelines in cloud platforms.
• Experience applying DevOps and DataOps practices to improve quality, scalability, security, and automation.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and with developing reliable data products.
• Ability to work in the hybrid setup in Billund, with an average of 3 office days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic data engineering concepts.
• Experience with Power BI Dataflow or similar technologies.
• Experience delivering data engineering or analytics solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Experience developing Databricks-based reporting, dashboards, or analytics capabilities.
