Data Engineer (Databricks and Power BI)

What you will do

• Design, set up, and pilot a Databricks application for managing and reserving capacities in electrical substations.
• Develop new pages and functionality for Power BI dashboards.
• Integrate new data sources into existing Power BI reports.
• Further develop, stabilize, and deploy an existing Databricks MVP.
• Automate data transfers to EAM and SAP systems, as well as data correction and data quality processes.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on requirements, implementation, and intermediate results.

Requirements

• Several years of relevant professional experience, including hands-on Databricks project experience.
• Strong programming experience in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Solid experience with databases and data-driven applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of Databricks, SQL, Power BI, Python, and Git.
• Excellent German language skills, written and spoken, are required.

Nice to have

• Basic electrical engineering knowledge and familiarity with the structure and operation of substations.
• Previous experience with the client or familiarity with the client environment.
