What you will do
- Experiment with emerging AI technologies, agents, LLM integrations, evaluation techniques, and AI-assisted development through rapid prototyping.
- Formulate hypotheses, structure experiments, evaluate results, and turn findings into engineering recommendations.
- Contribute to the definition and continuous evolution of the organization-wide AI SDLC.
- Assess AI technologies and model outputs, define evaluation criteria, and identify failure modes, security risks, privacy concerns, and responsible AI considerations.
- Create documentation and reusable guidance for delivery teams and leadership.
- Collaborate with the AI rollout function to incorporate recurring challenges from real-world project adoption.
Requirements
- 6+ years of production software delivery experience as a Senior Engineer or Tech Lead.
- Strong software engineering and architecture fundamentals, including APIs, distributed systems, testing, delivery practices, and maintainability.
- Hands-on experience with AI agents, agentic workflows, LLM APIs, model integration, and AI system evaluation and testing.
- Experience with CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and software delivery practices.
- Strong R&D, critical-thinking, systems-thinking, communication, and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work remotely from Romania.
Nice to have
- LLM-based application development and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Tool or function calling and protocols such as MCP.
- API design and integration, data pipelines, and data management.
- Containers and cloud-native development.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, .NET, or similar technologies.
