Senior AI Engineer – Large Language Model Systems

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, reliable AI systems optimized for latency, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Develop LLM architectures using retrieval-augmented generation, tool-calling, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure model quality, detect regressions, and monitor production drift.
• Integrate AI/ML models into business logic with safety, compliance, and robustness for decision-critical use cases.
• Engineer hallucination mitigation, safe-failure mechanisms, observability, guardrails, and caching for AI pipelines.
• Review technical designs, mentor AI engineers, and assess build-versus-buy options across LLM providers and third-party tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years working with production LLMs.
• Deep experience with LLM application architecture, including RAG, multi-agent orchestration, model routing, and fallback strategies.
• Experience deploying scalable AI systems with a focus on latency, reliability, and cost management.
• Strong system design skills, including guardrails, caching, observability, hallucination mitigation, and safe AI solutions for regulated environments.
• Advanced proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools and experience mentoring engineers and reviewing code.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills is required.
