Commercial Operations Assistant (TV Advertising)

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with 3 days in the office per week. The role requires the appropriate right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Curate linear TV and sponsorship schedules in line with regulatory requirements.
• Schedule and download commercial spot schedules and check advertising compliance.
• Communicate with clients and advertisers about commercial delivery, ordering, and platform rules.
• Coordinate with internal teams, media partners, and offshore operations.
• Provide administrative and operational support while resolving scheduling and delivery issues.

Requirements

• Confidence using or learning systems such as Landmark, BSS, Caria, and related scheduling and compliance tools.
• Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive work accurately.
• Strong problem-solving and issue-management skills, including handling last-minute escalations.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Understanding of advertising compliance rules, including ASA, Ofcom, and Clearcast requirements.
• Experience or awareness of TV advertising operations, scheduling, clearance, or transmission workflows.
• Familiarity with Landmark, BSS, Caria, and other scheduling systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport with people at all levels.
