What you will do
- Lead the development, maintenance, and improvement of emergency, severe weather, and business continuity plans across the resort.
- Coordinate incident response, support Incident Command, and operate the Crisis Management Centre during emergencies.
- Oversee Security Command Centre operations, emergency communications, alarms, incident notifications, and escalation processes.
- Develop and deliver emergency management training and coordinate drills, simulations, and multi-agency exercises.
- Manage and develop the Command Centre team, including hiring, coaching, training, policies, and performance management.
- Work with emergency services, local authorities, and Local Resilience Forums; lead post-incident reviews, audits, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related security field is preferred.
- Experience in emergency management, resilience, security, incident response, and emergency planning.
- Strong understanding of UK emergency response frameworks, UK legislation, and multi-agency working is required.
- Experience working with emergency services and local authorities, preferably in a large, complex, guest-facing environment.
- Recognised UK or internationally recognised security accreditation, or the ability to attain one; SIA licence and OSH/NEBOSH are preferred.
- Must be available on demand, including responding to emergencies or tactical situations 24 hours a day.
