Lab&IT Support Technician

What you will do

• Maintain, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot laboratory and conference-room equipment.
• Recover and repair malfunctioning or bricked hardware used in testing and development.
• Administer laboratory servers, including resource allocation, monitoring, and engineering support.
• Manage office network infrastructure and troubleshoot switches, access points, cabling, and connected devices.
• Service shared-workspace accessories, coordinate equipment logistics, and maintain accurate asset inventory.
• Collaborate with building management and external stakeholders while improving laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, and VLAN concepts.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and everyday system administration.
• Basic knowledge of SSH, RDP, user accounts, permissions, and access control.
• Awareness of storage, virtualization, and container concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, independence, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
