Principal Product Manager (IoT)

Location: Remote, open to candidates residing in the United States; SF Bay Area listed in the conditions.

Salary: $137,200–$245,000 annual base salary, plus bonus or variable pay and equity.

What you will do

• Lead the Worker Safety initiative from customer discovery and market validation through launch and scale.
• Conduct onsite customer research and translate operational needs into differentiated product opportunities and measurable ROI.
• Define the product vision, market position, and Version 2 roadmap across firmware and software.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to build full-stack solutions and make technical tradeoffs.
• Partner with sales, customer success, and marketing to support strategic deals and product adoption.
• Establish success metrics, track performance, and iterate on products to improve customer and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.
• 8+ years of Product Management experience in high-growth, fast-moving environments.
• Demonstrated ability to build products from the ground up without an established playbook.
• Strong first-principles thinking and the ability to quantify market opportunities and prioritize engineering work.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting product vision to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Technical fluency and comfort collaborating with firmware engineers and technical teams; a hardware background is not required.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools and creative visualizations for rapid product prototyping.
• Experience with physical operations, worker safety, or related IoT products.
