Site OPEX Lead (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

hirify.global is a global pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that develops and manufactures APIs and finished dosage forms across 16 sites.

What you will do

• Define and deploy the site Operational Excellence strategy in alignment with site and global priorities.
• Translate strategic objectives into structured, cross-functional improvement programs and roadmaps.
• Manage the full OPEX project portfolio from idea generation through implementation and sustainability.
• Define and monitor KPIs covering safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and drive performance review routines.
• Lead strategic improvement projects, governance routines, ideation processes, and cross-functional alignment.
• Train and coach employees and leaders in Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methods.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in chemical GMP manufacturing or operations and continuous improvement.
• Experience with state-of-the-art Lean production systems such as TPS, IWS, or WCM.
• Strong Lean/Six Sigma, project management, analytical, leadership, coaching, and change management skills.
• Ability to influence in a matrix organization and make data-driven decisions.
• Fluent German and English required; willingness to travel once a quarter.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma certification, preferably Black Belt.
