Project Construction Manager (French Speaking) (Waste-to-X)

Location: Hardturmstrasse 127, 8005 Zürich, Switzerland; the role includes site-based construction and field activities.

What you will do

• Establish and manage erection plans for industrial projects, ensuring HSE, quality, schedule, and cost compliance.
• Coordinate resource planning with the Project Manager and HSMIC and support site personnel in meeting work-package objectives.
• Specify and procure installation packages and tools with the Site Manager.
• Source and contract third-party personnel for site work.
• Develop erection and crane concepts, sequencing, constructability assessments, and site schedules.
• Monitor progress, risks, and deviations and report site activities to the Project Director.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in plant erection, preferably on large industrial plants.
• Experience in site management, erection planning, and interdisciplinary project work.
• Strong market and product knowledge with the ability to create high-level plans from analysis.
• Commercial judgment, communication skills, and the ability to motivate employees and negotiate with subcontractors.
• Excellent French and English communication skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, SAP, and PIRS; valid SCC and IOSH certifications.
