Senior Hardware Product Manager (IoT Wireless)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; work from the Budapest office

What you will do

• Define SoC product requirements, features, specifications, and system KPIs across compute, power management, peripherals, security, radio subsystems, and packaging.
• Translate market and application requirements into product use cases, system block diagrams, compute and peripheral requirements, and wireless protocol performance specifications.
• Define customer hardware and evaluation tools, including debug interfaces and user interface components.
• Collaborate with IC design, product test, software, marketing, applications, operations, and sales teams on product roadmaps and silicon definition.
• Drive product development from concept through definition and present promising product ideas to executive leadership.
• Conduct competitive analysis, including die-level teardowns and specification analysis, and manage the scalable product portfolio.

Requirements

• BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent degree with 6+ years of experience in semiconductor product management or the IoT industry.
• Experience with IC front-end development, architecture, verification, or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of PPA considerations, power and die-size estimation, and semiconductor process-node fundamentals.
• Knowledge of wireless modem and RF design principles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 802.15.4, or other low-power wireless standards.
• Ability to work at a technical level with cross-functional hardware and software engineering teams.
• Experience developing technology investment business cases and presenting effectively to executive management.

Nice to have

• Development experience with wireless or wired communication protocols.
• MBA or equivalent business degree.
