Credit Officer - Securitisation (Financial Institutions)

What you will do

• Support the Securitised Products Group by managing a portfolio of financial institution counterparties.
• Prepare new business proposals and annual credit reviews for approval by sanctioning officials.
• Provide high-quality credit risk analysis, advice, and guidance tailored to senior stakeholders.
• Lead credit due diligence calls with clients and contribute to transaction discussions.
• Shape deal structures and inform credit risk appetite.

Requirements

• Robust understanding of securitised product structures, including ABS and RMBS, and their credit risk drivers.
• Sound knowledge of rating agency methodologies and their application to transactions.
• Proficiency in credit analysis, cash flow modelling, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
• Understanding of credit risk assessment for financial institutions or large corporate clients.
• Strong awareness of macroeconomic factors affecting asset performance and credit risk.
• Strong organisation, communication, prioritisation, and relationship-building skills; prior bank or rating agency experience is desired.
