Location: Hybrid, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office in Bristol, Halifax, Edinburgh, or Leeds, United Kingdom

Salary: £78,098–£101,068 per year

What you will do

• Create the Customer Care Skills vision, strategy, and framework across learning, work design, talent, technology, and culture.
• Use domain expertise and market intelligence to identify and address current and future skills gaps.
• Activate skills development campaigns, adoption tactics, personalised pathways, and recommendations through Viva Learning.
• Use skills taxonomies, assessments, dashboards, and intelligence to support strategic workforce planning and measure proficiency.
• Collaborate with the Group Skills Proposition Lead and third-party content providers to address specific capability needs.
• Optimise skills technology and tooling to deliver modern, multi-modal learning experiences at pace.

Requirements

• Experience shaping organisational strategy and influencing senior stakeholders to adopt skills as a driver of organisational success.
• Ability to design and deliver skills development visions, strategies, frameworks, and interventions.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn internal and external information into actionable insight.
• Creative approach to simplifying, automating, modernising, and rapidly experimenting with capability development.
• Confidence interpreting data and applying data-driven insights to decisions.
• Understanding of Agile ways of working.
