Support Technician - Maintenance Engineering (Retail)

Location: Onsite at Weighbridge Road, Shirebrook, Mansfield, UK

What you will do

• Support the maintenance of distribution systems, including conveyor belts, sorting machines, and automated storage systems.
• Troubleshoot simple equipment issues and help minimise operational downtime.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance with support from maintenance technicians.
• Monitor system performance, report irregularities, and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Record support and maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Work with distribution and logistics teams and assist with implementing new systems and technologies.

Requirements

• Passion for developing a career in engineering.
• Ability to work confidently at height and in small spaces.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate confidently.
• Commitment to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications or semi-skilled maintenance experience are desirable but not essential.
