About the Role

You will design and maintain infrastructure for onboarding referral systems and user acquisition pipelines. You will investigate reliability incidents review infrastructure changes instrument data pipelines establish engineering standards and make judgment calls about hardening systems or shipping new capabilities.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience
• Meaningful experience owning production systems
• Track record of shipping systems under user growth pressure
• Ability to own systems end to end without close oversight
• Experience reducing incidents proactively
• Experience finding bottlenecks in data pipelines or user facing flows
• Strong judgment about shipping velocity and correctness
• Growth infrastructure experience is a plus
• Experience in small high autonomy engineering teams is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain infrastructure for growth systems
• Debug reliability incidents end to end
• Review pull requests for infrastructure soundness and scalability
• Instrument data pipelines to expose bottlenecks and failure points
• Coordinate decisions about hardening systems and shipping new ones
• Set infrastructure standards and reusable patterns
• Define boundaries for ambiguous systems between teams
• Drive improvements independently
