Business Continuity and Resilience Officer

What you will do

• Design, plan, and execute global business continuity and IT resilience projects.
• Lead continuity and resilience assessments across the organisation and identify IT-related risks.
• Develop and improve business continuity planning methodologies, resilience frameworks, and IT risk assessment approaches.
• Track continuity and risk mitigation action plans across departments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Central Services, Regional Infrastructure, laboratories, and global IT teams.
• Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to senior IT and business leaders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business continuity management, IT risk management, and cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, development practices, and security controls.
• Solid understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM/SOAR, data center operations, and network design.
• Strong English communication skills for explaining risk and continuity topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Independent, structured, confident, and able to negotiate and challenge the status quo; occasional business travel is expected.
