Cyber Security Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible

What you will do

• Take end-to-end security responsibility for the Spanish Space Domain.
• Design secure systems, perform compliance checks, and conduct risk assessments for space-based assets.
• Consult internal customers and engineering teams on cybersecurity standards for mission-critical projects.
• Create hardening guidelines and own product security standards.
• Manage operational defense technologies such as EDR and drive proactive vulnerability management.
• Maintain network security through firewall and access-control request management.

Requirements

• Broad cybersecurity expertise spanning security architecture and operational defense.
• Experience with vulnerability management and endpoint protection.
• Ability to translate complex security requirements into practical hardening guidelines.
• Broad IT technology knowledge for developing security architectures and identifying weaknesses.
• Excellent communication skills for partnering with engineering teams.
• Proactive approach and openness to new technological developments.

Nice to have

• CISSP or a similar certification.
• Basic knowledge of conducting audits.
