Cargo Supervisor - Zimbabwe

Location: Harare, Zimbabwe; on-site cargo warehouse and freighter ramp operations

What you will do

• Manage cargo warehouse operations and freighter ramp activities at the appointed station.
• Coordinate ramp operations and improve freighter on-time performance.
• Plan and deliver complex cargo loads for passenger and freighter operations.
• Supervise special services, products, and VIP shipments from acceptance through customer delivery.
• Inspect cargo operations for safety, security, regulatory, and company-procedure compliance.
• Train and coach ground-handling staff, manage SAP purchasing transactions, verify supplier invoices, and escalate operational risks.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of cargo operations experience or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of cargo handling processes, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Good verbal and written English.
• Understanding of computer airfreight specifications.
• Flexibility to work operational shifts and perform cross-skilled duties.

• Industry training in dangerous goods, cargo operations, security, quality, or auditing.
