Construction Subcontracting Manager (Waste-to-X)

What you will do

• Support subcontracting and sourcing strategies for waste-to-X plants and renewable gas projects.
• Develop local supplier and contractor networks for construction lots, site lots, and framework agreements.
• Prepare and follow up on procurement plans, RFQs, subcontract evaluations, and commercial clarifications.
• Analyze costs and offers, develop negotiation strategies, and support negotiations for installation and site procurement lots.
• Administer site and installation contracts, including cost forecasts and purchase order follow-up.
• Cooperate with tendering and construction teams and support contracting issues, startup sites, live sites, local procurement, and emergency orders.

Requirements

• Technical education combined with commercial experience in procurement or a commercial department within a technical industry.
• Experience in project management, sourcing, bidding, and category management.
• Knowledge of IFS, SAP, another ERP system, MS Office, and eProcurement solutions.
• Understanding of supply contract law, including Swiss and Anglo-Saxon law, and relevant quality assurance processes.
• Good English required.
• Strong commercial, administrative, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• French language skills.
• Experience in power, industrial, renewable gas, or other related technical sectors.
• Knowledge of waste-to-X or renewable gas markets.
