Senior Product Manager (ISR) (f/m/x) (AI)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid with at least two days per week in the office. Travel within Germany to customers and users is required.

What you will do

• Own the ISR imagery intelligence product from demonstrator stage through deployment and first installation at a real user.
• Define release scope, deployment and support models for secure on-premise and air-gapped environments.
• Translate operational needs into written requirements and user stories, manage the backlog, and run two-week engineering sprints.
• Own scope, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder communication for customer-facing defence projects.
• Build a roadmap connecting customer timelines, concepts of operations, and technical component readiness.
• Lead workshops, user sessions, product demonstrations, bids, and proposals with military and agency users, partners, and integrators.

Requirements

• Professional ISR, GEOINT, or IMINT background in the Bundeswehr, intelligence community, defence procurement, or industry.
• Operational fluency in the intelligence cycle, collection and tasking, and the production and use of imagery products.
• Ability to translate operational needs into buildable requirements and drive delivery across dependencies.
• Native or fully fluent German and professional English.
• German or European citizenship and eligibility to obtain German security clearance.
• Product management or product ownership experience with backlogs, sprint cadence, and release scoping is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Defence or publicly funded programme management experience, including national, EU, or NATO programmes.
• Experience writing CONOPS, operational requirements, or capability documents.
• Experience with satellite imagery, remote sensing, AI and machine learning products, or secure on-premise and air-gapped deployments.
• Valid German security clearance at SÜ2 or SÜ3 level.
• Knowledge of NATO standards and interoperability for imagery and geospatial data.
