Senior Manager of Product, Imagery (Satellite Imagery)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid schedule with three days per week in the San Francisco office

Salary: $182,900–$228,600 USD base salary for San Francisco

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates a large constellation of imaging satellites and delivers satellite imagery and cloud-based data products to commercial, environmental, humanitarian, and government customers.

What you will do

• Define and drive product strategy across monitoring imagery, high-resolution imagery, Tanager hyperspectral imagery, and mosaics and analysis-ready data products.
• Make portfolio prioritization and strategic tradeoff decisions aligned with business goals and OKRs.
• Influence cross-functional strategy with Platform, Solutions, Constellation Services, Engineering, GTM, TPM, and Space Systems teams.
• Lead customer discovery, validation, product planning, success metrics, and scalable product development processes.
• Manage and develop four Product Managers through hiring, coaching, onboarding, performance management, and career development.
• Diagnose organizational challenges, improve team health, and foster customer-focused continuous learning.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years managing and developing Product Managers.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience setting strategy for a multi-product portfolio and delivering measurable customer and business impact.
• Experience with satellite imagery, remote sensing, or geospatial products.
• Strong prioritization, communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to access applicable export-controlled information without requiring additional export licensing under EAR/ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• Power-user experience with satellite imagery.
• Background in government, defense, agriculture, energy, or related markets.
• Familiarity with data products, APIs, and platform businesses.
• Experience in dynamic, mission-driven organizations and complex systems thinking.
