Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate product improvements and new product releases with other engineering functions and manage manufacturing engineering projects.
• Apply Design for Excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and identify root causes and corrective actions for assembly and system-testing issues.
• Lead supplier issue management, support troubleshooting, and mentor junior engineers; travel is required approximately 25% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem-solving.
• Ability to work in physical manufacturing environments, including clean rooms, tight spaces, and areas requiring standing, walking, lifting, and use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment and distinguish between colors.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain difficult or sensitive information clearly and build consensus.
