Principal Eng Process Engineering (Etch)

What you will do

• Develop, modify, and optimize etch process formulations, methods, tool controls, and recipes for semiconductor fabrication technology nodes.
• Analyze technical data and charts, focusing on non-uniformity, defectivity, and removal-rate stability.
• Integrate etch equipment capabilities and material systems to meet process module and technology specifications.
• Establish and maintain SOPs and FMEAs for the etch module, while driving continuous improvement plans.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with integration teams, vendors, and internal partners on benchmarking and process improvement.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert, guide junior etch engineers, and contribute to patents and conference or journal publications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in the wafer fabrication industry, with a strong focus on etch.
• Hands-on expertise in etch process development, optimization, equipment integration, and technical problem-solving.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, and FMEA, together with organized and systematic problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to work safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
