Vaccines Field Medical, Director, non-MD (Vaccines)

Location: United States - California - Remote. The territory includes Northern California, Central California, and Nevada. Travel of 40–50% is required, including external stakeholder meetings and New York headquarters meetings.

Annual base salary: $176,600–$294,300, plus a 20% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Lead medical strategy, engagement, and account planning for external medical stakeholders across the assigned vaccine territory.
• Deliver scientifically sound education on vaccines, disease states, clinical and economic outcomes, real-world data, and guideline-based care.
• Develop and execute medical projects, collaborations, advisory boards, non-interventional studies, and Health Outcomes Projects and Evaluations.
• Support clinical trial site identification, Investigator Sponsored Research, inbound medical queries, and patient advocacy initiatives.
• Provide stakeholder insights and collaborate with Medical Affairs, HEOR, Field Medical, Research and Development, Global Product Development, and other hirify.global functions.
• Represent Medical Affairs with healthcare associations and societies, provide asset leadership, and mentor colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science; PharmD, PhD, or an equivalent terminal doctoral degree is highly preferred.
• Relevant experience: 5+ years with a PharmD/PhD, 7+ years with an MBA/MSc, or 8+ years with a BA/BSc.
• Leadership experience with the ability to influence, collaborate, coach others, manage projects, and create measurable medical impact.
• Strong clinical, technical, oral, written, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and change-management skills.
• Experience working with healthcare stakeholders, medical affairs, managed care, payers, organized customers, pharmaceutical companies, or quality improvement organizations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States by any employer and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Nice to have

• Previous Field Medical experience.
• Experience in hospital therapies, outcomes, epidemiology, clinical or formulary management.
• Experience with U.S. healthcare information technology and optimization of leading EHR platforms.
• Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system, emerging healthcare trends, and relevant interaction regulations.
