Project Engineer (Automation)

hirify.global is hiring for projects involving AutoStore and intralogistics automation solutions.

What you will do

• Support the sales phase through data analysis and conceptual design for new AutoStore projects.
• Take over conceptual designs and create detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Support technical procurement activities, including clarifications, quotes, tenders, and RFPs.
• Act as the engineering point of contact for project managers, customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Manage engineering progress, technical risks, opportunities, and amendments throughout project delivery.
• Apply safety standards and contribute to the standardization of solutions, tools, documents, and processes across APAC projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience in the automation industry; AutoStore experience is a strong differentiator.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with engineering CAD tools.
• Proven portfolio of completed projects and experience with pre-sales and technical procurement.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, structured-thinking, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and support projects across APAC.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD and PCon.
• Familiarity with or accreditation in industry safety standards.
• Good understanding of intralogistics processes.
