TL;DR

Senior Electrical Engineer (Industrial Automation): Designing and maintaining electrical systems for industrial coating products with an accent on PLC programming, control systems, and electrical safety standards. Focus on developing schematics and BOMs, debugging Siemens-based automation systems, integrating SCADA and data collection, and implementing customer-specific features.

What you will do

Design electrical systems through technical analysis, component selection, prototype testing, programming, and debugging.
Create schematics, wiring lists, and bills of materials.
Support and maintain existing product lines.
Ensure systems meet safety, cost, reliability, quality, and sustainability requirements.
Implement customer-specific features and drive cost-reduction projects.
Develop ideas that support business requirements.

Requirements

Excellent PLC programming and debugging skills.
Strong experience with Siemens PLC software; Mitsubishi or equivalent systems are an advantage.
Experience with low-voltage power circuits, PC-based control systems, coding, and debugging for engineered applications.
Knowledge of PCB boards, data collection, SCADA, industrial automation data structures, PLCs, frequency drives, and HMIs.
Familiarity with CE, UL, and CCC electrical engineering standards, plus proficiency with office software and AutoCAD.
ERP software experience is required; SAP experience is preferred. Basic written and spoken English and strong communication skills are required.

Nice to have

Experience in industrial automation control and UI design.
Experience with Mitsubishi PLC software or equivalent systems.
SAP experience.
