Embedded UI Engineer (AI)

Location: San Mateo, California, United States; onsite five days per week

Salary: $150,000–$300,000 USD annual on-target earnings range

What you will do

• Build intuitive user interfaces for embedded access-control devices with screens.
• Develop a reusable UI framework for current and future hirify.global screen devices.
• Adapt web and mobile-quality experiences to constrained embedded hardware environments.
• Take technical ownership of major product components and solve complex, ambiguous problems.
• Collaborate with engineers and UX designers to develop new products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related science.
• 3+ years of UI development experience on embedded devices, video games, and/or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Strong visual design and UX judgment.
• Ability to take an underdefined product idea through to completion.
• Must be able and willing to work onsite five days per week in San Mateo, California.

Nice to have

• Android mobile application development experience.
