Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance (Retail)

Location: Walmart Supercenter, Yuma, Arizona, United States; onsite retail facility work

Salary: $26.00–$51.00 per hour, plus possible premiums and bonus compensation

Walmart operates retail stores and provides facility maintenance services to support safe, functional, and customer-ready locations.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, fixtures, and store assets using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment skills.
• Receive reactive repair work orders through the work order management system and document completed repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training for equipment and tools.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work onsite in Yuma, Arizona.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical certification plus two years of relevant experience, or four years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related area.
• Valid state-issued driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, stand or sit for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
• Commercial driving record must meet the stated requirements, including no recent serious traffic violations, preventable accidents, or DUI/DWI/OUI convictions.

Nice to have

• Completion of a two-year vocational or technical trade program.
• Related trade license in the city or state of employment.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and office productivity software.
