What you will do

• Serve as Chief Compliance Officer for Australia and provide compliance oversight for Australian regulatory matters.
• Monitor and advise on regulatory requirements for fundraising, investment, portfolio management, lending, and Private Wealth distribution.
• Advise on regulatory obligations and support ASIC, APRA, AML, AUSTRAC, and FSCODA filings and reporting.
• Develop and implement compliance programs, policies, procedures, and controls.
• Coordinate regulatory engagement, compliance training, and testing of compliance programs.
• Provide regional compliance support, liaise with global offices, and travel as required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of legal and regulatory experience in legal, compliance, or internal audit roles.
• Experience at an investment bank, asset manager, or other financial institution.
• Knowledge of the ASIC, APRA, and AUSTRAC regulatory structure and key regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment.
