Principal Solutions Architect, APJC (Developer Platform) - Mandarin Speaking

Location: Hybrid, based in Singapore. Supports customers and partners across Greater China and APJC, with travel of up to 30%, primarily within APJC, including mainland China.

What you will do

• Own technical strategy for strategic Developer Platform customers and partners.
• Translate business, application, security, and operational requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable hirify.global architectures.
• Lead architecture discovery, technical workshops, proofs of concept, design reviews, and production-readiness discussions.
• Advise engineering executives and senior stakeholders on application modernization, distributed systems, AI architecture, and platform strategy.
• Create reusable reference architectures, standards, governance patterns, technical guidance, and regional customer feedback loops.
• Remain hands-on by building, reviewing, and troubleshooting applications and integrations while mentoring architects and partnering with sales, product, Developer Relations, and marketing.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in solutions architecture, software engineering, technical consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role; typically 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese for technical and executive discussions.
• Experience owning complex technical strategies involving developers, platform or infrastructure teams, security stakeholders, and senior executives.
• Deep knowledge of distributed application architecture, including compute, storage, networking, security, reliability, and observability.
• Hands-on software-development experience with production-quality applications and proofs of concept, plus modern web technologies and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Understanding of serverless or cloud-native architectures, modern software delivery, and at least one major public cloud platform; willingness to travel up to 30%.

Nice to have

• Experience building and operating production applications on hirify.global’s Developer Platform.
• Experience with AI inference, agentic, retrieval-augmented generation, or data-intensive applications.
• Experience with customers, technology partners, or developer communities in Greater China.
• Public speaking, technical writing, open-source contribution, developer-community leadership, or relevant cloud and architecture certifications.
• Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
