Sr. Specialist Solutions Architect (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the vision and strategy for AI product adoption across Asia Pacific and Japan.
• Define technical go-to-market strategy and develop materials that communicate the AI product value proposition.
• Advise customers and senior executives on data application architecture and strategic data decisions.
• Present, demonstrate, and pitch Databricks AI and machine learning products in customer and competitive pursuits.
• Enable field engineering, account executive, partner, product management, marketing, and engineering teams through best practices and specialist expertise.
• Represent Databricks externally through conferences, webinars, events, and published content while gathering customer feedback.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data science and machine learning, including 2+ years building production generative AI systems.
• Hands-on experience delivering solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in traditional machine learning and large-scale production systems.
• Deep understanding of LLM application architectures, including RAG, agentic systems, fine-tuning, evaluation methods, and agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or DSPy.
• Successful pre-sales experience in competitive situations and experience advising technical executives.
• Ability to lead strategic cross-functional programs and communicate effectively with internal and external audiences.
