Senior Staff Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $210,500–$284,500 annual base pay, plus potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Influence strategic and operational decisions through customer segmentation, profiling, product analytics, sales funnel and win/loss analysis, and voice-of-customer analysis.
• Develop and manage success metrics and leading indicators for business initiatives and programs.
• Identify new business opportunities and help business partners achieve their goals.
• Communicate data-driven insights to business partners and senior leadership.
• Develop machine learning models and LLM applications for business problems.
• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers on cross-functional analytics capabilities and coach junior data scientists.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in web, product, customer, strategy, sales, marketing, CRM, or related analytics.
• Highly proficient in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Multiple years of experience applying advanced analytics techniques, machine learning models, and LLMs.
• Ability to create analytical frameworks for complex business problems and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication skills with technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
