Senior Project Manager - Project Delivery (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Vacaville, California, United States; fully site-based

Salary: $130,500–$217,500 annual base salary, plus performance-related bonus

What you will do

• Manage capital and non-capital projects covering facility modifications, manufacturing upgrades, automation, equipment lifecycle replacements, technology transfers, and new construction.
• Oversee planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and project closeout.
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory, quality, corporate, and cGMP requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, MSAT, SHE, quality, contractors, suppliers, procurement, legal, and senior leadership.
• Manage project risks, resources, contracts, change control, stakeholder engagement, and communication.
• Support global engineering initiatives as a User Team Lead when required and improve project execution practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience managing engineering and capital projects in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management, construction, commissioning, and contractor management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across organizational levels.
• Experience in regulated environments with a strong focus on safety, quality, compliance, risk management, schedule adherence, and budget performance.
• Ability to work fully site-based in Vacaville, California.
