Account Performance Manager, Accounts Receivable

What you will do

• Own and be accountable for $1–$2 million in annual client revenue; manage assigned client account performance and AR plans.
• Run weekly/monthly/quarterly AR reporting, analyze data to improve efficiency, and identify denial trends and payer issues.
• Drive RCM account production targets (50+ accounts/day for RCM clients; 65+ accounts/day for PRO clients) and escalate potential gaps to leadership.
• Serve as subject matter expert for billing policies, state guidelines, reimbursement analysis, and resolution of challenging accounts and claims.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of client-specific SOWs and contribute to AR policies, procedures, and best practices updates.
• Provide people leadership: train on client processes/systems and mentor AR Representative 1 and 2.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, including at least 1 year in a Senior AR position.
• 3+ years of AR and claims experience in the healthcare industry.
• Intermediate knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, private pay, liability, and workers’ compensation requirements and procedures, plus diagnosis and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with HIPAA and HITECH patient confidentiality policies.
• Intermediate expertise with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Intermediate knowledge of revenue cycle; ASC billing experience is preferred. 3+ years’ experience with a variety of RCM practice management systems.
