US Medical Value & Outcomes Director (Biopharma)

What you will do

• Serve as the medical scientific lead for assigned healthcare accounts and organizations.
• Build and maintain scientific partnerships with healthcare decision-makers, opinion leaders, payers, pharmacy, quality, and health economics stakeholders.
• Develop and execute customized medical account plans aligned with medical strategies, policies, and approved procedures.
• Facilitate scientific exchange and provide clinical, medical policy, health economic, and evidence-based information tailored to customer needs.
• Collect customer insights and evidence gaps to inform portfolio development, medical brand strategy, education, communications, and research priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional engagement with US Market Access, field commercial teams, Medical Affairs, HEOR/HEVA, and other internal functions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US West Coast and work remotely.
• Advanced degree required; MD, PharmD, or clinical PhD strongly preferred.
• Expert knowledge of health economics and outcomes research, with a basic understanding of biostatistics, evidence-based medicine, research methodology, clinical protocols, and clinical reports.
• At least 3 years of managed care or pharmaceutical outcomes experience, including Outcome Liaison, HEOR, HEVA, or real-world evidence work.
• At least 5 years of clinical and/or pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, organizational, strategic thinking, and business acumen skills.
