Senior Director, Medical Affairs - Respiratory

Location: Fully remote; can be performed from anywhere. Occasional team meeting and event travel is expected, with frequent domestic and international travel of up to 25%.

What you will do

• Establish and shape respiratory medical strategy in alignment with overall company strategy.
• Lead the development and execution of Medical Affairs plans, including launch milestones and annual activity budgets.
• Provide medical leadership across clinical, operations, HEOR, commercial, regional, and development functions.
• Build external relationships across the respiratory therapy area and lead thought leader engagement strategy.
• Develop data generation strategies, identify evidence gaps, and evolve product data generation plans.
• Review publications, create medical backgrounders, FAQs, standard responses, and internal training approaches.

Requirements

• MD degree with previous experience in pulmonology.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience, including leadership experience in Medical Affairs.
• Strong knowledge of Medical Affairs planning and previous product launch experience.
• Ability to lead by influence, collaborate across matrixed teams, and drive process and operational excellence.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere and travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Board certification in pulmonology.
• Global experience or experience across multiple regions, including the United States.
