Maintenance Technician - Hrly (Healthcare Manufacturing)

Location: Kaunas, Lithuania; onsite role supporting production and facility systems.

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, calibration, and condition monitoring for production and facility systems.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, utilities connections, and tooling preparation.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records and support spare-parts management, vendor coordination, and external service activities.
• Maintain HVAC, power systems, building areas, and safety systems such as sprinklers.
• Identify safety risks, quality concerns, deviations, and improvement opportunities while collaborating with Production, Engineering, EHS, and Facilities.

Requirements

• Secondary school education and 1–2 years of related experience.
• Technical knowledge of mechatronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work safely under time-sensitive conditions.
• Willingness to follow site procedures, safety standards, environmental guidelines, and operational policies.

Nice to have

• Vocational or technical certification in engineering, mechatronics, automation, or a related field.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing or cleanroom environments.
• Familiarity with Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with HVAC, power distribution, or fire-protection systems.
• Forklift, EPT, man-up, or aerial work platform certification.
