Associate Director Data Master (US) Global Capability Owner (Master Data Management)

Location: Remote, US-based candidates only; Philadelphia, PA. Travel: 20–30% required

Salary: $160,000–$240,000 annual base pay for US-based candidates, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, outcomes, and roadmap for US commercial Data Master capabilities.
• Own prioritization and trade-off decisions across Capability, Consent, Payer, Patient, HCP, and HCO master data domains.
• Translate business needs into scalable capability solutions, measurable success metrics, and sequenced delivery plans.
• Lead discovery with users and stakeholders, validating business value and technical feasibility before development.
• Partner with Global Capability Owners, Tech Leads, development teams, platform teams, and vendors to deliver trusted and governed master data.
• Monitor adoption, outcome KPIs, data quality, performance, and engagement to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, marketing, science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of data mastering experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Experience in digital product management, product ownership, or managing cross-functional product roadmaps.
• Knowledge of master data management, golden records, match and merge rules, survivorship, identity resolution, hierarchies, consent, governance, and data quality monitoring.
• Experience with global data platforms, MDM tools, CRM systems, reporting tools, Agile product teams, and product collaboration platforms such as JIRA or Confluence.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, influence without authority, problem-solving, and enterprise-level decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or relevant graduate degree.
• Experience with product operating models and enterprise platform teams.
• Experience with rare disease or specialty brands.
