AWS Senior Network Engineer (Contractor)

What you will do

• Configure AWS VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups based on the defined solution architecture.
• Support the phased migration of services to a simplified AWS network structure with minimal disruption.
• Analyze, refactor, and optimize legacy network configurations to improve security, maintainability, and scalability.
• Validate network changes through connectivity testing, traffic verification, and troubleshooting across services and environments.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams for migration, troubleshooting, and handover.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in network engineering or a similar networking-focused infrastructure role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking components and distributed cloud network environments.
• Experience with legacy network setups, transformation initiatives, and service migrations.
• Good understanding of network security principles and access control.
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform, and experience with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins or Concourse.
• Strong English communication skills and availability to work remotely from Poland.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking certification.
• Familiarity with container-based and serverless environments, including ECS and Lambda.
