Medical Science Liaison (Obesity)

Location: Field-based U.S. territory covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Alaska

What you will do

• Serve as the primary scientific and clinical resource for obesity opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and population health decision makers.
• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchanges and communicate balanced clinical, outcomes, and economic data.
• Engage clinical investigators and research sites in support of the obesity pipeline and sponsored research.
• Provide field observations and stakeholder insights to inform medical strategies and tactics.
• Lead or support congress activities, speaker training, project teams, and cross-functional field collaboration.
• Maintain clinical and scientific expertise while completing CRM, expense, compliance, and training requirements.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or a master's degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience in a medically related field, including clinical practice, clinical research, medical research, post-doctoral training, residencies, or fellowships.
• Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and scientific communication skills.
• Experience working with a designated territory and willingness to perform field-based stakeholder engagement across the assigned U.S. states.
• Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, cardiometabolic, or obesity experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• At least 1 year focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
• Cardiometabolic or obesity expertise.
