Facilities Engineering Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for building infrastructure, utilities, and facility systems at an R&D and clinical laboratory site.
• Lead maintenance and engineering activities delivered by internal teams and external service providers.
• Develop maintenance strategies, job plans, critical spare parts programs, and asset reliability improvements.
• Manage engineering service partner performance, capability development, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver facility improvements, shutdowns, capital projects, and engineering process improvements within quality, safety, schedule, and budget targets.
• Maintain inspection readiness through accurate compliance documentation and regulatory execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or another relevant engineering discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of facilities or engineering experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• GMP facility experience and knowledge of environmental, health, safety, statutory, and GxP requirements.
• Experience using a CMMS to plan and execute maintenance programs; Maximo experience is preferred.
• Strong technical writing, communication, negotiation, analytical, structured problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Honeywell Niagara or Siemens Desigo systems is preferred.
