TL;DR
APS-4: Deputy Program Manager (Logistics): Supporting Army Prepositioned Stocks-4 logistics operations across maintenance, supply, staffing, quality, and customer coordination with an accent on operational readiness, compliance, and contractor program oversight. Focus on managing production goals, ISO 9001 audits, PWS execution, equipment readiness, contingency missions, and acting as Program Manager when required.

Location: Seoul, South Korea; supports operations at Camp Carroll, Korea and Sagami General Depot, Japan.

What you will do

  • Support the APS-4 maintenance and supply COSIS and oversee contractor logistics operations.
  • Act as Program Manager during the PM’s absence and serve as the primary operational point of contact.
  • Coordinate with customers and stakeholders on contract responsibilities, PWS execution, equipment issues, unit draws, training, and contingency missions.
  • Manage departmental production goals, staffing, performance objectives, and workforce qualification programs.
  • Ensure equipment readiness and compliance with safety, environmental, Zero Harm, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Oversee internal audits and ensure required CDRL reports are submitted on schedule.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and a valid U.S. passport required.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.
  • Must qualify for U.S. Expatriate Invited Contractor Status and a SOFA visa under USFK Regulation 700-19.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, business, or a related engineering field; equivalent military maintenance or supply chain experience may substitute.
  • At least 10 years of U.S. Army logistics support operations experience, including 7 years in program or project management with leadership responsibility.
  • Strong English communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, critical thinking, and strategic thinking skills; periodic medical screenings are required.

Nice to have

  • Experience as a military Logistics Officer, Warrant Officer, or Senior NCO.
  • Advanced leadership or certified project management training.
  • Strong analytical skills for data compilation and trend analysis.
