Legal Operations Specialist (Nuclear Energy)

Salary: $115,000–$155,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Manage the capitalization table, including equity issuances, option grants, exercises, terminations, and vesting schedules using platforms such as Carta or Pulley.
• Draft, review, and manage NDAs and routine commercial and vendor agreements.
• Own entity management, corporate housekeeping, formations, foreign qualifications, dissolutions, and annual or biennial filings.
• Manage corporate insurance programs, renewals, certificates of insurance, and broker relationships.
• Implement and administer a contract lifecycle management system, including workflows and user training.
• Build legal playbooks, templates, standard operating procedures, compliance calendars, and support for board, stockholder, and export-control matters.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in legal operations, corporate paralegal work, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with capitalization table management, entity management, corporate housekeeping, and routine commercial agreements.
• Experience managing corporate insurance programs and implementing or administering a CMS or CLM system.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Nice to have

• BigLaw or in-house startup experience.
• Experience in hardware, energy, aerospace, defense, or other hard-tech sectors.
• Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, DOE Part 810, or other export-control regimes.
• Experience building legal operations systems and processes from scratch.
