Social Work Educator (PACE)

Location: Must reside in California; 75% travel across PACE Centers. The position is described as remote but includes substantial on-site and inter-site travel.

Salary: $128,000–$145,000 per year, plus a target annual bonus of 10% and potential additional incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead onboarding, training, practicum, and shadowing for Master’s-level Social Workers, Social Work Supervisors, and related participant-facing roles.
• Oversee competency signoffs, skills validation, preceptor checklists, and on-site learning across assigned PACE Centers.
• Deliver learning programs covering psychosocial assessment, care planning, grievance and crisis response, and community resource navigation.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for social work operations, workflows, documentation, and best practices.
• Develop and improve social work workflows, standard operating procedures, playbooks, job aids, and educational resources.
• Partner with Practice Operations, Center Leadership, the People Team, Learning & Development, and functional educators to improve care quality, compliance, and operational consistency.

Requirements

• Must reside in California and be able to travel 75% across PACE Centers.
• Master’s degree in Social Work and active, unrestricted California social work licensure where applicable.
• 3–5+ years of teaching, training, clinical supervision, or educator experience.
• Active clinical or macro social work experience, preferably in healthcare, PACE, geriatrics, or complex care.
• Experience delivering learning programs and developing workflows, SOPs, training materials, or process improvements.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with knowledge of housing instability, community resources, and social determinants of health.

Nice to have

• Experience in value-based care, elder care, or PACE environments.
• Experience with emergency response, crisis workflows, or psychosocial risk management.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary team models and regulated healthcare environments.
