Field CISO, North America

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; hybrid work with at least two days per week in the office

Salary: $196,000–$294,000 base salary per year, plus benefits and potential incentive plans

What you will do

• Advise CISOs, CTOs, and board-level stakeholders at strategic accounts across North America.
• Guide customers through human risk strategy, insider risk management, Incydr deployment, AI agent risk, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Represent hirify.global at major security conferences and build a credible public profile across the region.
• Author whitepapers, research reports, and opinion pieces on human risk, insider threats, AI security, and the evolving threat landscape.
• Partner with sales on security-sensitive enterprise deals and support expansion within existing accounts.
• Feed customer insights to product and engineering teams and contribute to the CISO Customer Advisory Board and regional CISO communities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise information security experience, including at least 3 years as a CISO, VP of Security, or equivalent senior security leader.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent senior-level experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Advanced certification such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, GCEIT, or an equivalent GIAC certification.
• Ability to influence C-suite and board audiences with credibility and humility.
• Experience with both U.S. and Canadian markets and cross-cultural fluency across North American business environments.
• Ability to work as a highly self-directed Director-level individual contributor.
